"Estranged from her illegitimate daughter--raised by her parents--following the revelation of Maggie's true heritage, movie star Tessa Kent decides to end the hostility by auctioning off a collection of jewels with the auction house at which Maggie works."
I just finished this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is the first book of Judith's I have read and will be sure to get some more of hers. I just could not put this book down. It is about how a girl who is brought up in a strict Catholic family finds herself pregnant at the tender age of 14. From there her life has many twists and turns. Her search is to be with the one person who means the world to her.
I won't go into this story as I don't want to give the plot away. All I can say is it was a fab book and it had me in tears near the end, I just couldn't stop crying.
I grew to really like Tessa Kent and felt I was with her as she journeys through her life.
Verdict: Brilliant and exciting!
